Terms of Service
Last updated: May 20, 2026 (v2)
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Murmur (the "Service"), operated by 宇鏈科技 ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
Murmur is a KOL comment management platform that integrates with Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, and the Meta Marketing API to help advertisers and marketing teams sync, monitor, and reply to social media comments, and track branded ad posts.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
3. Meta Platform Integration
The Service requires you to connect Facebook Pages and/or Instagram Business accounts via OAuth. By doing so, you grant us the limited permissions listed on our home page and in our Privacy Policy to operate the Service on your behalf. You may revoke access at any time through the Service or through your Meta account settings; revocation through Meta will additionally trigger our deauthorize callback to delete the data we have synced for your account (see our Data Deletion Instructions).
Our access to and use of data obtained from Meta platforms adheres to the Meta Platform Terms, Developer Policies, and Instagram Platform Policy.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to send spam, harassment, hate speech, or other content that violates Meta's Community Standards.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the source code of the Service.
- Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or other technical measures.
- Use the Service to collect, store, or process personal data without the necessary consent from data subjects.
- Share your account with unauthorized third parties.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you or your team submits through the Service (including replies, templates, and pinned assets). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and transmit that content solely as needed to operate the Service.
6. Fees
The current version of the Service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future and will provide advance notice by email to registered users before any charges take effect.
7. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected], or request automatic deletion of your Meta-related data via Meta's data-deletion mechanisms (see our Data Deletion Instructions). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, the Meta Platform Terms, or if your use poses a security or legal risk. Upon termination, we will delete your account data within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of Meta APIs or that all comments will be synced without delay. Features that depend on Meta platform APIs are subject to Meta's service levels, rate limits, and policy changes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Murmur or 宇鏈科技 be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be submitted to the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
